Located at the NYU Tandon Digital Future Labs in Brooklyn, NY, our team is building the next generation of microscopes. Affordable, portable, and AI ready, the ADA-2 is an IOT equipped robotic microscope capable of mobile whole slide imaging, dynamic sharing over the internet, and analysis using computer vision and machine learning. Our continued research and development has been made possible thanks to generous funding and support from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), United Kingdom Technology Strategy Board (UKTSB), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the United States and India Science and Technology Endowment Foundation (USISTEF), Duke WaSH, Oxford, Johns Hopkins and NYU Tandon. One of our long term goals is developing a standard for the AI analysis of grey water with the ASME. To achieve this goal we are building a community of like minded researchers exploring WASH, Microbiology, Cytology, Pathology, Hematology, and Parasitology.
